Homosexual activists are beating the drum for homosexual doctrination of school children in Anoka Hennepin School District in response to the tragic suicide of Justin Aaberg, a teenager who had embraced homosexuality.
It's been argued that Justin committed suicide, because he was harassed for being homosexual. I talked to parents of students in the district and the word among students is that Justin was distraught over his male lover having an affair. Whatever the exact reason for Justin's suicide it's an enormous tragedy that shouldn't be manipulated for ideological purposes which is what's being done now.
Certainly harassment of a student or any student for homosexuality or any other reason is unacceptable and needs to be swiftly dealt with. Even if the reason a student's harassment is his or her homosexuality that does not justify "anti-homophobia" indoctrination of the entire student body and faculty. (This indoctrination seeks to promote acceptance of homosexuality as a normal form of sexual expression.) Yet that's what is being demanded.
The mother of the student notes that " some groups are more vulnerable, noting "there's literature that says (gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender) persons are a high-risk group."
I would agree that youth who embrace homosexuality are at greater risk, because they've embraced an unhealthy sexual identity and lifestyle. These alternative sexual identifications or lifestyles deny the reality that we are created male and female. To live or try to live in conflict with how we are made will invariably cause problems, e.g. emotional, psychological and social. Notwithstanding gay activist assertions to the contrary, people aren't gay, lesbian, transgender, etc. by God's design or nature. We are male and female with sexual expression designed for a lifelong union between a man and a woman. Denying or fighting against this reality is the reason alternative forms of sexual expression, whether homosexual or heterosexual, will put people at greater risk. To assert otherwise is to deny reality and involves "kicking against the goad" to use a biblical analogy.
The manipulation of this tragedy is reminiscent of the Matthew Shepard tragedy. Shepard a homosexual was brutally murdered by two men who robbed him. It was asserted that Shepard was murdered, because he was homosexual. It turns out that wasn't the case. No matter. Shepard's tragic death served an important ideological purpose for homosexual activists.
I'll of course be accused of being unloving, hateful, etc. But is the loving thing to encourage and promote unhealthy and harmful behaviors and practices? If we love and care for people won't we encourage them to do the right thing and discourage the wrong? Warn them the course they're headed down is dangerous? What does this say about people who actually encourage people to engage in harmful practices?

Tom, when you reference articles to make your case, you should really read them all of the way through.
When Matthew Shepard made a pass at one of his assailants, the beating began. Please re-read the article with a clear head.
Isn't the loving thing to do to actually love people regardless of your perception of their "flaws"? I think if someone is being bullied (regardless of the reason), they should be protected and loved.
Tom - if I bullied you because I thought you are gay (which, by the way....I do), how far would it be acceptible to go? Should I start to stand outside of your house with signs telling the world that you are outrageously gay because of the way you dress and look. Would that be okay? I haven't had sex with you, but I'm assuming you hadn't had sex with Mathew Shepard either, but that doesn't stop your "stating your case."
What if people start to believe me, and you begin to feel that the world is ganging up on you to the point that, in your despair, you kill yourself.
How can that possibly be the loving thing to do.
You ARE unloving and hateful. Think about what your words can do to others before you spew your hatred. I hope that there are more loving people around you when you finally admit to your family, and the world, that you are gay.
"judge not"
Ed
Have you ever been bullied for being gay? I was. When I was 8, I got the Mary Lou Retton pageboy haircut to look like my Olympic heroine. But the new girl at the SuperCuts messed up the back of it, and took an extra inch off. Oops.
I was a little girl, had no breasts yet, too young for makeup, no easy gender identification for other people. And when they found out that I was a little girl, they hated me for something that wasn't my fault. Injustice hurts. Two of the NINE DEAD TEENS from this last MONTH were straight, but the perception of them being queer was enough to get people willing to torment them, gladly and viciously.
How much do you think it takes to get a defenseless child to cry? How much injustice do you need to break a young heart, break a spirit so badly that no hope is left?
If your pronouncements were valid, your judgment sound, these kids would still be alive. And you are advocating for blaming them for what was done to them. You are not hateful. You are blind. And loud. That is enough.
Hi Tom,
I made a nice little video about this blog post. Enjoy.

Tom,
You are twisting words and quotes to try and make your point.
You state that, "The mother of the student notes that " some groups are more vulnerable, noting "there's literature that says (gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender) persons are a high-risk group."
It was not Tammy Aaberg that said this, but Phyllis Brashler, suicide prevention coordinator at the Minnesota Department of Health.
Tammy Aaberg does not have a gay agenda, she is trying desperately to prevent the deaths of LGBT students who are being bullied to death in a school district that is failing to protect these students. Tammy is trying to prevent others from going through the pain she and her family are dealing with, because of Justin's death!
Anti-bullying laws are not to further the "gay agenda" they are to protect all children from the type of bullying that is occurring across this country.
I notice that in your posting you do not even mention that in this very same school district teachers were actually found by the MN Human Rights Commission to have done the bullying and anti-gay harassment themselves!!!!
You say, "To live or try to live in conflict with how we are made will invariably cause problems, e.g. emotional, psychological and social." You are absolutely right, in fact studies show and numerous doctors agree that homosexuality is not a choice and cannot be changed!
Homosexuality is natural, it has been around since the dawn of time, and even occurs in animals...you really need to do some more research in to facts, instead of dogmatically holding on to your close-minded, homophobic view.
The only agenda is that of the Religious Right political Agenda that is trying to indoctrinate the public and bully them with fear and hate.
